David G. Adishian Recognized by Forbes Magazine for its  2026 Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors”

The Chamber is excited to share that our member, David G. Adishian, Managing Director, Senior Financial Advisor at Merrill has been recognized by Forbes magazine on its 2026 Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” list for the ninth (9) consecutive year. * Merrill, one of the largest wealth management businesses in the world, proudly recognizes David and its industry-leading advisors for their achievement.  

 

David is a long-time Manhattan Beach resident who was raised in Palos Verdes Estates and graduated from Palos Verdes High School. He developed his career as an investment advisor at Merrill following his undergraduate studies in Business Economics at UC Santa Barbara and attaining his Juris Doctor at Pepperdine University School of Law where he was named a Margaret Brock Scholar.

Philanthropically, David is deeply involved in organizations related to public policy, world affairs, and education, and his lifelong passion for automobiles. David enjoys helping important institutions become more relevant to their constituents and the community by building philanthropic engagements and expanding their financial support base. He currently serves as the Chair of Programs on the Executive Committee for the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, where he is a member of the Board of Directors. Founded in Los Angeles over 75 years ago, David has been instrumental in expanding the World Affairs Council’s mission and membership while bringing distinguished business executives, policy leaders, and public officials to address the council. Additionally, David serves on the Board of Trustees of the World Affairs Council of Orange County and is a proud member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and the Petersen Automobile Museum. David also serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of California, Santa Barbara Foundation. He played a key role in relaunching the University’s American Presidency Project, which is home to one of the world’s largest digital archives for presidential documents.
