The South Bay Business Leaders Summit Will Gather Professionals from throughout Los Angeles for an Extraordinary Day of Education and Networking
The South Bay Business Leaders Summit, formerly the Women in Business Conference, will be completely re-vamped this year to offer attendees a day full of noteworthy speakers and highly informative and relevant breakout sessions. Now open to a broader audience, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with business professionals to share ideas, best business practices and advice from some of the most successful professionals in the South Bay and beyond. The Summit will take place on April 25, 2014 from 8:00am-5:30pm at the Manhattan Beach Marriott at 1400 Parkview Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. In addition to the impressive roster of speakers, there will be four breakout sessions during the day filled with seasoned and respected panelists. One of the sessions, “The Digital Influencer: Explode Your Social Media Footprint” is comprised of four social media professionals who will cover a variety of questions regarding social media and blogging for business. Other panels include: “The Real Mad Men & Women of the South Bay,” an advertising panel, “Launch it Legit: Tools to Starting a Successful Business,” filled with a variety of functional experts and “Secrets of Success: From Start Up to Staying Power,” which will highlight successful entrepreneurs who have made names for themselves in their respective industries.
An all-new exciting feature of the Summit will be a “Pitch Tank” session. Pre-selected entrepreneurs and product visionaries will have the opportunity to pitch their business concepts to a panel of venture capitalists and investment bankers to gain feedback, advice and even possible funding. This session is bound to be a highlight for attendees and offer them an insight into product ideation, marketing and finance fundamentals.
