Meet the 2020 Finalists!

About

The Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce developed the Best of Manhattan Awards in 2013, with the intent of recognizing outstanding people, businesses, and philanthropic efforts in the City of Manhattan Beach. In an effort to be as inclusive as possible, the categories have evolved over the years. 2020 is unique and has presented countless challenges... many of which have yielded remarkable efforts, innovations, and acts of kindness. We feel it is important to continue the tradition of recognizing the best in Manhattan Beach. Although we'd love to gather in person at the Westdrift for a grand awards ceremony, that will have to wait until October 21, 2021; mark you calendar for next year. This year you will have to tune in on December 13th to find out who wins.

Nomination Rules

There are nine categories this year, six of which are open to your nomination. The nominees must be located in Manhattan Beach... after all, it is the Best of Manhattan Awards. Nominate your favorite in each category. There will only be one round, so nominate the best. Nominations open Wednesday, October 28, 2020 and will close at 11:30 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020. The top three in each category will become finalists. The one with the most votes wins. Finalists can only win in one category. Multiple votes for the same candidate, from the same email address, will be voided.
