Becoming a member of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce means you will have access to resources that can benefit your business as well as your professional growth. The Chamber is consistently looking to offer its members educational resources and provide the tools you need to help your business develop. Although many of the resources we offer constant year round we will on occasion add additional opportunities for you to learn about how to keep your company and brand visible and current.
Economic Development Committee
The Business Development Committee launches programs to help business retention, expansion of membership base and recruitment of new members. They partner with other business groups to promote doing business in Manhattan Beach and the beach communities. This committee is also responsible for producing and supporting the Business Expo which occurs annually in March. Participation in this committee affords you the opportunity gain first hand knowledge of the business climate in Manhattan Beach.
SCORE grows successful small businesses across America one business at a time. They are a nonprofit association dedicated to helping businesses get off the ground, grow, and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. Their work is support by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and because of their extensive network of volunteers they are able to deliver services at no charge or at a very low cost depending on your needs. The Manhattan Beach Chamber has partnered with two SCORE counselors to meet with our members for morning appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. The Small Business Development Center Hosted by El Camino College
The SBDC of the South Bay can help you start a business or expand your current business. They offer no-cost/low-cost workshops, one-on-one consultations with business experts at no charge and assistance with applying for business loans. They can even help you with research, contract agreement review, employee issues, hiring staff, business and/or marketing plan review and more.
Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E)
W.A.C.E. is the premier organization for education and professional development for Chamber executives and staff. W.A.C.E. now represents over 800 chamber professionals in 15 Western states and Canada.
California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber)
CalChamber is a not-for-profit organization committed to helping California businesses survive and thrive while complying with complex laws and regulations. Our more than 13,000 members are a diverse group, ranging from companies such as Microsoft and the Walt Disney Corporation to local companies with a handful of employees. For more than 120 years, CalChamber has worked to make California a better place to do business by giving private-sector employers a voice in state politics and providing a full range of California-specific products and services.
The South Bay Association of Chambers of Commerce (SBACC)
The South Bay Association of Chambers of Commerce is a regional association of chambers of commerce dedicated to regional issue advocacy in the South Bay. They provide coordination and to advance the common business interests of local Chambers of Commerce within the South Bay area. They also serve as a public policy advocacy body on issues that impact the business and economic climate of the South Bay. Finally the SBACC provides a forum and structure for cooperative educational programs and services that benefit the collective members of the participating local Chambers of Commerce and that does not compete with member Chambers.

Our staff works daily with the membership to offer them the resources and tools they need to help their business succeed. Their knowledge of community support and offerings for business can be helpful when you need quick answers to questions or should you need direction on how to solve a business issue.
