At the Manhattan Beach chamber of commerce we are constantly on the lookout for ways to help you reach an audience who wants, needs, or can help your offerings. No business can be successful without finding the right people to consume or provide services and that is one of the reasons we are here. The Chamber provides opportunities including print media, weekly radio shows, digital and social marketing, networking opportunities, as well as sponsorship to put your brand in front of the right eyes.
In recent years we have helped to grow the impressions we drive for the Manhattan Beach community to more than 500 million impressions annually. At one point the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce website generated 10,000 views annually and today generates mores than 20 times that. Each of your businesses used to receive an annual listing in the business directory which went out to 10,000 people. Today you receive five separate print listings reaching more than 150,000 people annually through the quarterly business journal and the destination guide. Social media is an area we have also seen tremendous growth with over 1500% growth in three years allowing us to reach more people on your behalf.
With the tremendous growth in the website and exposure it generates for our community and businesses we want to make sure you are aware of the ways you can get involved. Every member has their own member portal which affords you a micro site with the website. Here you can post photos, video, links, special offers, and so much more. Additionally there are opportunities to place your logo on banner ads for the home page, search pages, and sub pages. Any member can also submit a story, press release, or similar for publication to out blog.
Taking time to refocus our events on ways to better celebrate the business community, equip it with needed tools, and helping make connections has brought about even greater opportunities for our members. For a majority of people they will do business with someone they have met or been introduced to before they would ever cold call for a vendor so make the most of the time you spend at these events. With events also comes the possibility of tying your brand to something that has a tremendous buzz or following. With events like Bite at the Beach generating more than 100 million impressions and just shy of a thousand attendees, or Best of Manhattan celebrating the cream of the crop in our city take time to consider a fit for your business. Event sponsorship is not all about the one person with the biggest check, there are ways for every size business to gain access and build their brand.
