Bite at the Beach took place this last Saturday at the MBS Media Campus in Manhattan Beach. Twenty restaurants and breweries came together to create a paired tasting for all attendees to enjoy. Attracting approximately 700 guests throughout the Los Angeles area from the hours of 2 and 7pm, this first time event sure didn’t leave people hungry. Greeted with a plate, perfectly fitted Stella Artois challis and a map of the booths with menu items from each, guests were able to walk around the back lot of the studio with perfect ease. From ceviche and aguachiles from Coni’Seafood paired with a Kolsch Style Blonde Ale from The Dudes’ Brewery to Jamaican Jerked Chicken Tacos from Zinc paired with Rebel IPA and Bacon Wrapped Shrimp from Salt Creek Grille paired with the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale the options were endless. Not only did attendees get to sample copious amounts of food and craft beer, they had the opportunity to sit down and relax with some panel sessions comprised of industry experts. Obviously we’re a little biased, but let us share some of the other views:
South Bay Foodies said, “I gotta give credit to the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce. They really know how to put on a party! Bite at the Beach, their celebration of South Bay food and beverages, took place last weekend and delivered everything as promised: An extraordinary event filled with delicious bites and craft beer.” Read the whole article HERE.
We also had Enplug give us a shoot out saying, “Saturday was the first annual Bite at the Beach, presented by the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce. The event featured tasty offerings from over 40 local restaurants and breweries. It was the first big food and craft beer pairing event in South Bay, and it was memorable!” Feel free to check out the whole article HERE.
Bierkast also gave us some love – “Hats off to the event organizers, participating restaurants, craft brewers, and panelists; and here’s looking forward to next year.” The full article goes over the event in more detail in case you weren’t able to make it! Take a read HERE.
Tastemade even came with a video crew! Take a look HERE.
We couldn’t have done it without all of our wonderful sponsors including Stella Artois as the Title Sponsor. We also want to thank our restaurant and brewery sponsors for also making this event possible! We couldn’t have done it with out all of your help!
Looking forward to next year!
